VDC provides a platform for dancers to grow and develop their individual skill set in preparation for the professional dance industry in both New Zealand and the world.

Awards are presented to all dancers regardless of their placing to ensure everyone is recognised for their amazing talent and efforts.

The ACCELERATED DANCER division involves dancers taking part in an industry styled audition with a guest choreographer... select dancers are then chosen for the callback round in which they perform their chosen solo.

Velocity's mission is to expose dancers to the professional dance world and make sure all dancers feel appreciated and supported in their time at a competition event.
